Task 3- create and justify and planned animation (P5, P6)

(P5)

These are the back plates i have chosen for my animation, i chose these as i think they help to make the animation look the best and fit the brief. They are also very athestic and clean which help the animation to have the best possible backgrounds. These backplates all link to my the brief and help to create the best possible animation, for example the start of my animation begins with my zombie coming out from the grave and this backdrop presents this the best.

Gantt chart

Here is my gantt chart where you can see the certain task i have completed and can be compared to the. first gantt chart i completed. . I am working through these tasks making sure i am meeting the deadlines, even though some are struggling as i find some very time consuming with figuring out how to use the app Vvyond and how to finalise everything on final cut pro. I feel i will complete all tasks to meet the deadlines and I am confident I will have time to promote my animation. I didn't need the contingency time I allocated for the storyline and narrative.

How The Production Followed The Storyboard
During my creation of my animation, i created the storyboard to help make my animation, i used all of the information of the storyboard such as the shot type, background, sound and length to help with my production. As i planned this all i did not need to come up with new ideas as the storyboard had all the information i needed which overall made the production a lot easier.
The voice over followed the script and storyboard, to ensure that the zombies made scary noises. I also used a slightly different character, but I knew this would be different which is why I stated it during P2. The backplates are very much the same as I had planned, so this planning help with the production, however I will have to change some of these as I realised some of my planned backplates won't work well.
By me also planning out the sound and effects of the animation it will also allow me to add these quickly which helped to make the animation interesting and engaging while having the various noises that zombies would make. Overall my storyboard helped me a lot to create certain key factors in my animation and also it was very time effective.  I think I have stayed true to the production materials so that they have followed the storyboard, which really helps when making the animation.

Logsheet
To date, I have rendered all of my shots and do not need to reanimate any shots.

Offline edit

The audience or viewer in my offline edit is only focused on the animation's visual aspects, which are taken straight from the animation software. The offline edit has everything in order, to follow my storyboard without any edits (music, transitions, sound effects). This enables the team or viewers to identify any differences or similarities with the storyboard and provides the editors with a starting point for preparing the additional features that will be added in the final edit. I follow to the timeline on my storyboard in the offline edit and allow time for the dialogue to occur. Because it lacks the thrilling elements that give animations their excitement such as music and transitions—this edit  is quite dull. I was able to easily and fully concentrate on making the best visual experience because none of these features were added in this revision.

Looking at my storyboard and the offline edit, there will be some changes I need to make.
Although I had to also make some readjustments to the animation such as some of the backplates i intended to use, I do need to consider adding in a voice over at the end of the animation to inform my audience about the march and advertise it. I forgot this bit during my planning and it's a really crucial convention of an advert.
Another key factor i will change are some of the zombies movements and facial expressions, as i planned many different expressions and movements it allowed me to quickly change these without slowing down the entire process of the animation.

Version 2 with music

In this version I added music to my animation as this allowed for certain parts of the animation to be more interesting and engaging. The music also creates a certain tone to the animation which helps to create the narritive.

Version 3 with transition

In this version I added in transition because this made my animation more visually pleasing and interesting. Certain transitions helped to create more effect

Version 4 with voice over

In this version I added a voice over as it helps to bring my zombie to life and also tell the audience what is happing in the animation. This helps to inform the audience of where or what is going on in the animation for example where the zombie march is located.

Final Version

This is my final version, exported as an mp4 file so that it's low quality and can be watched on many different devices. Overall, I am happy with my final version because...
